Québec City, Canada, November 17, 2020 – OPTEL GROUP, a global leader in supply chain traceability, has earned a prestigious award from the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the potential impact of its disruptive digital technologies on the future of Industry 4.0.
The WEF’s New Champions awards recognize companies that explore business models, technologies and sustainable growth strategies that will be needed in the Fourth Industrial Revolution as industries and companies increasingly digitize their operations.
Of the three available categories, OPTEL was the sole winner of the New Champions award for Excellence in Digital disruption. The other two categories were Excellence in Sustainability and Excellence in Agile Governance.
